Bric d’Bianc is the largest one-plot Ruchè vineyard in the area of Ruchè production. It’s located on the southern-facing side of the hill which goes from Castagnole towards Asti. The earth is loose, rich in limestone and barren so as not to give too much life to the vines. The altitude and south-western exposure to the sun impart concentration and structure to the wines, which maintain a degree of elegance. On the photo above, the piece of land surrounded by the color blue is our vineyard of Syrah. We use this grape variety to make our Il Re, Monferrato Rosso, a blend of Ruchè e Syrah.
